1. Check the O-Rings (Most Crucial): Inspect both the chamber seal and the coffee basket seal. Ensure they are clean, properly seated in their grooves, and free of rips or coffee grounds.

2. Check the Tightness: Make sure the brewing chamber/cup is twisted firmly and completely locked into place. A loose connection will cause pressure leaks.

3. Reduce Coffee Grounds: If you overfill the basket, it prevents the chamber from closing flush. Try reducing the coffee amount slightly to allow a perfect seal.

💡 Quick Tip: If leaking occurs, always check the sealing O-rings first, then ensure the cup is fully tightened and not overfilled with grounds.

A rich, golden crema depends heavily on your coffee variables. Try adjusting these 3 factors in order:

1. Grind Finer: If your coffee grounds are too coarse, water passes through too quickly without extracting the oils. Switch to a finer grind size.

2. Tamp Firmer: Increase your tamping pressure slightly. A firmer, leveled coffee bed creates the necessary resistance for a high-pressure 20-bar extraction.

3. Use Freshly Roasted Beans / New Capsules: Old, stale coffee beans lose their carbon dioxide and oils, making crema impossible to form. Always use freshly ground beans or recently sealed Nespresso® capsules.

💡 Quick Tip: Thin crema is almost always caused by coarse grinds, a loose tamp, or stale coffee. For the best results, grind fresh and dial it a bit finer!

This is usually caused by the coffee bed being too dense, which blocks the water flow. Please try the following steps in order:

- Use a coarser grind size. (Fine grinds act like a wall).

- Reduce the coffee amount (Do not overfill the basket).

2. If the Chamber is Stuck (Cannot Unscrew):
High pressure has locked the unit. Do not force it open. Let the machine sit for a few minutes to allow the internal pressure to release naturally. Once cooled, unscrew it and apply the adjustments mentioned in Step 1.

3. If It Fails to Pump Even Empty (No Grounds Added):
If the machine hasn't been used for a long time, the pump may be dry. Submerge the bottom chamber section in water for a brief period to re-prime the pump. (Note: This applies only to waterproof models. If unsure, please contact support instead of submerging).
